Betsy Quayle

Principal Contracts Officer

Betsy is responsible for reviewing and submitting proposals and negotiating research agreements for the Earth & Environmental Sciences and Physical Sciences Areas. She trains and provides guidance to Lab staff on the University of California, Department of Energy, and research agreement requirements and policies. Betsy has played a lead role in drafting and negotiating complex master Work for Others agreements (WFOs), master Cooperative Research And Development Agreements (CRADAs), and California Energy Commission model agreement terms. Previously, she has worked as a civil litigation attorney and as a research attorney for both the San Mateo County and San Francisco County Superior Courts.
