Monique (“Mo”) joined the Lab in 2015 and is responsible for reviewing and submitting proposals and negotiating research agreements for the Energy Technologies Area (ETA). Mo supports the Lab Directorate and Operations in its entirety; ETA for all federal engagements; and Cyclotron Road and Energy Storage and Distributed Resources Division for non-federal engagements.
Mo joins the Strategic Partnerships Office with 15+ years of research administration experience in the field of research administration; specifically, healthcare, higher education and private industry. Her emphasis is contract negotiation, customer service, project management and training. Before joining the Lab, Mo worked for UC Davis Sponsored Programs Office negotiating research agreements with federal, state, non-profit and private industry partners. Previously, Mo managed the day-to-day operations of the Orthopedic Clinical Research Program for Shriners Hospital and collaborated with Principal Investigators to develop research protocols for human subject research.
